  • To prep for a facial wax, let the hair grow to at least a grain of rice, avoid retinol, exfoliants, or acne medications 7 days beforehand, and arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. Lightly exfoliate the day before (not the same day), stay hydrated, skip caffeine if you’re sensitive, and let your esthetician know if you’re using any skin medications.
